Inn Style supports Art for Cure
September 16th 2016 – Martlesham, Suffolk – Inn Style, the travel-technology company is proud to support Art For Cure, the charity raising money for the care and cure of breast cancer.
Following the tremendous news that Art For Cure has donated £100,000 for Breast Cancer Now, it is revealed that Inn Style provided pro bono work which supported the charity’s efforts. Central to this was the provision of the sales database, and digital marketing collateral, which underpinned the fundraising exhibition at Glemham Hall in May.
Belinda Gray, from Art For Cure commented, “We are so very grateful to the team at Inn Style for their support and the donation of their skills and time to help Art For Cure’s cause. Their contribution made a huge difference, not just in financial terms but, their compassion and understanding in what we are striving to do.” She added “Their technical expertise and design skills proved invaluable and the whole Art For Cure team is enormously grateful.”
James Kindred, Co-founder of Inn Style commented “Art For Cure, and the care and cure of breast cancer, is such a worthy cause – sadly a disease which shall touch the lives of so many families. There was no hesitation when the opportunity arose to help; we were thrilled to be able to donate our skills to help with the show.”
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK – around 1,000 women will die from the disease each month, in the UK alone. One in eight women will face breast cancer in their lifetime, and nearly 700,000 people living in the UK today have experienced a diagnosis.
The Art For Cure fundraising art and sculpture show is the largest event of its kind held outside of London this year. Over £300,000 of artwork and sculpture was sold during the three day exhibition and over £175,000 raised. £100,000 has already been donated to Breast Cancer Now, with further monies due to be donated to other charities supporting local East Anglian programmes for the care and recovery of breast cancer patients. A number of high profile celebrities, including Ed Sheeran, Judi Dench, Joan Collins and Andy Murray showed their support by generously donating canvasses of their own artwork, which were auctioned online.
Both Inn Style and Art For Cure were shortlisted in the Suffolk Coastal Business and Community Awards (SCBCA). Art For Cure for Charity Champion and Inn Style for Business Growth. The teams from each organisation shared a table at the Awards event on 15th September at Kesgrave Hall.
The third Art For Cure fundraising exhibition will take place at Glemham Hall from 5 – 7th May 2018, however there will be other fundraising events in the interim.
